Kristin duCharme
Creator and director of Firework Studio, she is a fine artist and educator working in Los Angeles. Her education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Otis/Parsons Art Institute, and a Master of Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design. Kristin has extensive experience working as a painter, sculptor, and designer; she is accomplished in a variety of media and finds the challenges of working with glass inspiring. She has taken to combining her traditional art background with the endless possibilities of glass working. Kristin established her command of glass through studying with Susan Holland at Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, WA; with Roger Thomas (Portland, OR) and various classes through Santa Monica College. Kristin’s artwork is exhibited internationally and her unique jewelry is available online, at Ten Women Venice and in various high-end boutiques.

Having earned certifications from Rio Rewards; PMC Connections Levels 1 & 2 and Art Clay Silver, Lora began teaching in the Los Angeles area in 2003 and nationally in 2006. She is honored to have been a regular contributor to Studio PMC; Step by Step Beads and Tana’s Habitat in addition to being asked to design a project which is featured in "Metal Clay and Mixed Media Jewelry" by Sherri Haab. In 2007 Lora was among the first artists whose work was chosen to be included in the premiere edition of the "PMC Guild Annual" . In addition to founding NewMetal Artists, the Los Angeles chapter of the PMC Guild, Lora belong to the Metal Arts Society of Southern California (MAASC) and The Society of Norh American Goldsmiths (SNAG).

Susan Haskell
Susan Haskell is a glass artist and painter born and raised in Los Angeles. She studied at UCLA where she received a B.A. in Pictorial Arts and a M.A. in Design. Susan also earned teaching credentials from Pepperdine University and is currently a teaching assistant at Santa Monica College in the Glass Blowing Department. Susan's love of glass led her to explore a variety of creative methods including, glass-blowing, torch working and fusing. Her paintings have included large scale outdoor murals (Los Liones Canyon) and a twenty-year series of photo-realistic paintings of tunnels (The Tunnel Vision Series).
