Glass Fusing Intensive for Teens
Immerse yourself in a nonstop creative adventure. Create one-of-a-kind kiln formed glass tiles, vessels, bowls, whimsical sculptures and jewelry. Everyone will explore the visual and elemental properties of glass through exploration, experimentation and observation. Instruction and exercises include fusing, slumping, casting, kiln equipment, studio tool and material use. Individuals will express themselves and their ideas through their various projects by using a variety of kiln forming techniques. Their finished projects will be substantial and awesome and portfolio worthy. All materials are included and no previous glass working experience is necessary. Campers that come to more than one week will be considered advanced and encouraged to make more complex projects.

Glass Art Making with Modern Masters, Ages 7-10
Learn about influential art movements and the artists who pioneered them while exploring modern art glass techniques. Everyone will create their own masterpieces inspired by such artists as Seurat, Picasso, Dali, Duchamp, Chagall and more. Students will learn about fusing, slumping and casting glass as well as studio equipment, tool and material use. The potential for self expression and artistic understanding is infinite in this class.

Adult Classes
Kiln Forming Techniques -8 week Class
Students will learn a variety of glass fusing techniques that can be used to form elements for glass tiles, bowls, sculptures and jewelry. The visual and elemental properties of glass are taught through experimentation and observation. Proper glass handling, vocabulary and equipment operation will be emphasized. Each week will bring a new adventure and a deeper appreciation for the endless possibilities of glass. (Maximum 8 students) Prerequisite: None
Fridays 9:00am-12:00pm, $480 (8 sessions) Tuition includes firing of class projects and some basic materials
